Limited to 500 pieces worldwide, this is a rare model with very few arrivals in Japan.

Wheels and Waves is a custom bike and lifestyle event centered on bikes, surfing and skateboards held annually in Biarritz in the southwest of France.
It is an event that is not generally familiar in Japan, but in fact it is now said to be the most influential event in Europe.
Breitling has partnered as Official Timekeeper of the event from 2019 to 2021.
The model commemorating that is the "Premiere B01 Chronograph 42 Wheels & Waves Limited Edition".





Based on the Premier, which was added as a new collection in 2018, the overall finish is vintage classic and elegant.


The dial color is anthracite (gray) with gold hands and indexes.
The red color that accentuates the chronograph second hand and the circle inside the dial is used.
Equipped with "Breitling 01", which is said to be the highest peak as an automatic chronograph caliber, it boasts a power reserve of 70 hours or more.
Unusually for a Breitling self-winding watch, it does not have a date function.
The lack of a date is another element that sets this simple classic apart.



The skeletonized caseback reveals the intricate caliber.
There is no serial number, but it is stamped as one of 500 "ONE OF 500".



The side of the case is engraved with "BREITLING SPECIAL", which can be said to be a feature of the Premier, creating a special feeling.



The belt uses a brown strap made of nubuck material.
Combined with the dial, it creates a classical atmosphere.
