Let's start with the design of the 45mm Instinct 2 .

When viewed from the side of the case, the bezel is raised and the glass disk looks like it is recessed.
This is, of course, a structure to protect the glass plate.

The bezel is high enough to avoid scratching the glass disc as much as possible.
Looking at it from the side, it's not that thick, so it feels pretty good to wear.


My arm circumference is 17 cm, but there are plenty of belt holes, so even someone with a good physique and strong arms can use it without any problems.

There is also a heart rate sensor on the back cover, but this new product has evolved into a 4th generation optical heart rate monitor .


The number of sensors was 4 in the conventional model, but the number of sensors has increased to 6 from this model.
We are upgrading to a more accurate and stable sensor.

Case size 40mm Instinct 2S

Next, we will introduce the newly added 40mm Instinct 2S .


This product is probably targeted at women, but it may also be good for men who prefer a size that doesn't get in the way as much as possible during sports.

To be honest, I don't think the 45mm is too big, so I don't think the watch will get in the way when outdoors.


When I actually put it on my arm, the rubber belt was just barely there, but if the arm circumference is up to about 17cm, I think it's okay to put it in as an option.
If a woman is chosen, such a gorgeous color seems to shine even in running and it is wonderful.

toughness

I think that the basics of an outdoor watch is that it is "tough" , but the Instinct series assumes that it will be used in various fields, and has high heat resistance and impact resistance, including water resistance of 100m. I have it.

Surprisingly, it is not well known, but Garmin referred to the MIL standard 810G , which is the environmental resistance test of the US Department of Defense, as the test standard for this "toughness" .
Because it has quality that conforms to this mil-spec, I feel a really high sense of security for the watch.
