Breguet Tradition Independent Chronograph 7077 has arrived.

A distinctive chronograph mounted on a Tradition with a distinctive appearance.

As the name suggests, the Tradition 7077 is an "independent chronograph", with the chronograph mechanism and the power of the watch separated.

To briefly explain each display, first of all, the hour and minute hands are above 12 o'clock, which is the same as the existing model.
The upper right fan is the power reserve of the watch body, and the paired upper left fan is the power reserve of the chronograph.



The case size is 44mm, so it's large and mechanical.

The bridge is an isosceles triangle that the original Breguet used.
The big needle in the center is the chronograph hand, so it usually points straight up.

As you can see in the image, this needle is very long enough to reach the outer rail, and it has a modern Breguet design.





Two temps.
Both are Breguet whiskers made of silicone and when you hold them in your hands you can see the raised end curves.

Both are equipped with anti-shock devices called parachutes developed by the original Breguet, pursuing symmetry down to the smallest detail.



Pressing the chronograph start button also moves the blue hand at 6 o'clock. On Off.

A little different from the usual Tradition, this 7077 is worth seeing even from the back.

A chronograph mechanism that uses leaf springs, a large anchor-like arm, three bridges that go from top to bottom, and when you activate the chronograph, you can enjoy the series of movements.

As an aside, there are other chronograph mechanisms other than Breguet that have this kind of creative, unique chronograph mechanism.

However, after a few years, when I look back, there are actually few products that are still being produced.
I'm sure Breguet stopped producing it for various reasons, such as it didn't go on a commercial basis and the production cost was higher than expected, but Breguet is making it properly. …Well, let's forget about the Tradition Minutes, which are no longer in production.

It was Breguet that felt the attitude of taking responsibility for the work that was put out into the world.
