A new black ceramic model has been added to the "Modern Best Practical Wristwatch" with high precision, high magnetic resistance, high waterproofness, excellent weather resistance and maintainability.





This is cool, isn't it?
The case is machined from ceramic to give it a sharp edge, and the contrast between the hairline and the polished finish is stunning.

In fact, the finish of the needle is changed from polish to hairline.
The indexes are matted accordingly.

The bezel of the current Seamaster Diver 300M is made of ceramic, and the white memory is made of enamel.

The size of the crown is just right and it is very easy to operate.

And when the crown is pulled out, the thickness of the core is solid and there is no wobble, and the winding is good.

After touching various watches, I found that all the watches where the crown size and shape are just right are wonderful.





The thin wavy lines on the dial made of ceramic are polished, and it's nice to be reminiscent of the sea.
It is also recommended for those who love fishing, divers and surfers who are too busy to go to the sea.

It is impossible to insert this line except laser processing, so it seems to be inserted one by one.

It takes about two hours to make one dial.





Well, this Seamaster Diver 300M was delayed due to the improvement of this helium escape bubble, but when you open it, you can see the red line slightly.

Omega's technology is incredible.





If you look closely at the rubber belt, it's a two-tone satin and hairline design, and it feels good to the touch.





Recently I noticed that there is a hook on the belt loop.

Even though it's a loop (leather), it's fixed and you can't play.
Instead, keep your belt tight.



The buckle is also ceramic.
Usually, there are many brands that make these parts from stainless steel and color them with PVD or DLC, but I like that they don't do that.

Moreover, the top is polished and the sides are hairline finished, which is cool.

It's expensive, but it's possible because it's Omega.





The movement is caliber 8806.

The only difference from the 8800 is that there is no date display.
So far, it's the limited model ref.210.60.42.20.99.001 that uses titanium and tantalum, and the exclusive movement for this ceramic model.

Even so, this movement is highly accurate with a daily difference of 0 to +5, is shock resistant due to the silicon balance spring, is super anti-magnetic, and has a co-axial escapement, so it has been overhauled for about 10 years? Isn't that a little too serious ?

The warranty period is also 5 years, so there is really no chance.



This black ceramic diver 300M costs about 930,000 yen, but if you include the stainless steel model, the lineup starts at 556,000, which is why it is called the best modern practical watch .

Personally, if it's a watch under 1 million, the Omega Seamaster will be the last recommended watch in the Heisei era . is.
