This eye-catching Outerknown logo strap is made from ECONYLR yarn, an innovative material made from nylon waste such as fishing nets collected in the world's oceans, also known as ghost nets.



This ghost net... I was curious about how much it was produced every year, and when I looked it up, it seems that in places where there are many, it amounts to about 3 tons per year in a square kilometer. Sea turtles and other valuable marine animals are entangled in these fishing nets, causing a lot of damage.
