When I first put it on my hand, the first thing I noticed was the beauty of the dial. This A385 was one of the three models announced at the same time as the debut of the El Primero in 1969. Zenith calls the brown gradation dial, which faithfully reproduces the details of the time, the "smoke dial". .



Although there is a white part in the center of the watch, as it goes to the outer circumference, the color gradually changes from bright gold to bronze, which looks like it has been slightly aged, and finally to a perfect brown. The point that I personally thought was really cool is that the white color of the totalizer gives a sense of design that gives a somewhat fresh impression without giving off a bad vintage feeling. The chrono hands are red to add impact, and the luminous paint is properly brown.
