This model was announced in conjunction with the renewal of the Luminor series in 2020.

Among the Luminor series, it was spotlighted as an innovative model using high-tech materials along with PAM01661 and PAM01663.

"Tutto grigio" means "all gray" in Italian, and as the name suggests, this model is characterized by its urban finish.

Earlier, I explained that the model in the Luminor series uses high-tech materials . increase.

DMLS is an abbreviation for Direct metal laser sintering , and the case is molded with a 3D printer that sinters titanium powder by irradiating it with a laser. The pear-skin-like texture created during processing creates a unique atmosphere that has never been seen before in Panerai.

For a long time, Panerai used the traditional case manufacturing method of forging followed by cutting. Unlike a forged case, only the shape of the surface is molded to make the inside hollow and reborn as a lighter titanium material. Due to this manufacturing process, mass production is not possible, so the number of arrivals per year is very small. It makes sense that it is only used in some tourbillons and this model.
