Among the HYT collections that shook the world by fusing liquid and mechanical watches for the first time in the industry, there is nothing more special than the H2.0 collection. <What is Renault et Papi (APRP)? >


“Renault et Papi” is a movement company founded in 1986 by Dominique Renault and Julio Papi, who used to work as watchmakers for Audemars Piguet. In 1992, it became a subsidiary of Audemars Piguet and made great strides forward. Unlike its parent company, Audemars Piguet, which embodies traditional Swiss crafts, it has been developing new technologies and innovative functions one after another. Since many engineers who have been produced here are responsible for the current watch industry, it has gained a high reputation as a talented workshop.

Giulio Papi
Director of Audemars Piguet Renault et Papi (APRP). Born in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in May 1965. Joined Audemars Piguet in 1984 after graduating from watch school. After that, he established Renault et Papi (the predecessor of APRP) with Mr. Dominique Renault, who joined the company at the same time. By producing many talented watchmakers, the company has grown to the point where it is called an "independent watchmaker training institution" by some Japanese media. Even now, as a member of the Audemars Piguet Group, it is a heavyweight in the Swiss watch world that drives APRP's high technological development capabilities.
