IW389008 Pilot's Watch Chronograph “Blue Angels®”


Following the TOPGUN model, the collaboration model " IW389008 Pilot's Watch Chronograph 'Blue Angels®'" with the US Navy aerobatic squadron "Blue Angels" has arrived. The scratch-resistant ceramic case is equipped with the "caliber 89361" used in IWC's high-end chrono. The minute display is placed on the outer ring and the time display on the inner ring. This is reminiscent of the flight surveillance watches that appeared in the 1930s and 1940s.
The F/A-18 Hornet's aircraft colors "blue" and "yellow" are used for the dial and strap, and the back cover is engraved with the "Blue Angels" insignia.

Speaking of F / A-18, it is an aircraft that is also active in "Top Gun Maverick". Why not the newest F-35! It seems that it was poked, but I think that F/A-18 was good because it would be unrivaled even if Tom didn't pilot it.
